It’s the first time in India you have an opportunity to Ski and see Himalayas. We are organizing for the first time the Pink ski weeks in India for a group of thirty skiers and mountain lovers. Head to Kashmir for the world’s highest gondola ski lift and eye-popping views. There is where we have the northern hemisphere’s highest gondola ski lift. Reaching a lung-shriveling 4,200m (taller than most alpine peaks), this trip caters for beginners, average skiers and also more skilled skiers who want to ski outside tracks with a licensed mountain guide.

Detailed Program :

Day 1, Friday Night : Delhi

• Arrival in the night, pick up from the airport and transfer to the hotel in Central Delhi (3*)

• Enjoy the multi cusine of the two elaborate restaurants

Day 2, Saturday : Delhi

• 9 a. m. - 10 a.m.: Breakfast and meet your hosts (Q. and A. about the Tour)
  Optional activities:
  
  • Go for a relaxing massage to recover from jetlag
  • Shopping at Janpath market and different state emporiums
  • Introduction to Ayurveda and experience an ayurvedic massage treatment
  • Introduction to Indian art scene and galleries visits
  • Visit Indian Historical monuments with Tea and snacks in a beautiful oustdoor café at Lodhi Garden and Tour of Qutub Minar at sunset
• 7 p.m.: Experience an Indian House party where you will get to meet members of the Indian gay community. Buffet and Open bar
• 10.30 p.m. : Departure for Saturday night gay parties (we will check out both of them as they cater to different tastes)

Day 3, Sunday : Delhi/Agra

For the ones who know Agra already or want to visit the Taj Mahal after the Tour, same options as Saturday are available.

Agra is a city on the banks of the river Yamuna in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh, India. Agra has three UNESCO World Heritage sites, the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort in the city and Fatehpur Sikri nearby. There are also many other buildings and tombs from Agra's days of glory as the capital of the Mughal Empire. The Taj Mahal, the monument of Love and Compassion and one of the 7 wonders of the world built by Moghul emperor Shah Jahan in 1631 to leave an eternal remembrance of his love for Queen Mumtaz Mahal. No trip to India is complete without at least one visit to the Taj.

• 8 a.m. : Departure to Agra
• 1 p.m. : Visit to Agra Fort
• Lunch
• 3 p.m. : Visit the fabulous Taj Mahal, the monument of Love and Compassion and one of the 7 wonders of the world built by Moghul emperor Shah Jahan in 1631
• 6.30 p.m. : Departure to Delhi, dinner on the way
• 12 p.m.: Night stay at the Hotel (same as day 1)

Day 4, Monday : Srinagar/Gulmarg

Gulmarg is located 52 km from Srinagar. Gulmarg’s legendary beauty, prime location and proximity to Srinagar naturally make it one of the premier hill resorts in the country. Gulmarg is not merely a mountain resort of exceptional beauty- it also has the highest green golf course in the world, at an altitude of 2,650 m, and is the country’s premier ski resort in the winter. Head here for the world’s highest gondola ski lift and eye-popping views. With its gondola accessible ski area on Mt. Apharwat, 4'124m it offers many possibilities for descents of up to 1'800 vertical meters

• Late Breakfast. Departure to Srinagar by flight at 1 PM. The flight takes an hour and 15 minutes to Srinagar airport, and from there our private transport would be waiting to get you to the twinkling lights of the small Gulmarg, 45km away
• As soon you reach, we have our private taxi for Gulmarg. It would be an extravagant and scenic drive which would take about an hour and a half for 45 km experiencing the beautiful mountains and lakes. Enjoy the bits of the city and the scenic journey to Gulmarg
• Our most favorite place for you to stay in Gulmarg is Hotel Alpine Ridge, Gulmarg. .( Webpage : http://www.hotelalpineridge.com/)The destination chosen for your stay is a Ski-in and Ski-out Hotel. So there is no struggling to reach the Gondola. A new Gondola from renowned French company PONA is installed by Jammu and Kashmir Govt. that takes skiers to the heights where crisp snow makes ski a delight
• After taking our rooms in the hotel, we will meet the hotel staff and the ski instructors.
• We will rent skis and shoes with help of instructors if needed and form 3 groups according to our experience in skiing: beginners, intermediate and advanced. The advanced group will discuss with our mountain guide the out tracks program
• We have our Introduction party with our own DJ from Australia. We will make sure everyone blends with the bunch from around the world and the locals. Drink - Dance – Eat. Fun and frolic is the mantra tonight

Day 5, Tuesday : Gulmarg

The program till Saturday focuses on skiing, but alternate activities are available for those who need a break…

• Breakfast at hotel
• Try your skis and check your level with the instructors on the snow
• The ski at Gulmarg could be of three levels. You can ski with different ski lifts at the lower level, or do the first phase of the Gondola : Gulmarg – Kongdoor(Phase - I) or also rise to the heights of Mt Affarawat (Phase – II) at 4000m
• Party tonight as well and celebrate as we are here at the Pink SKI WEEK. Let’s enjoy to the Dj’s theme party

Day 6, Wednesday : Gulmarg

• Enjoy The Kongdori Restaurant at the Gondola mid-station appears oddly Western. Do not forget to try the Kashmiri Kehwa though
• Enjoy Skiing from the Mt Affrawat to Gulmarg at 2300 mts. Chase the guy you like in the group. The Ski would be exciting today as you already know who to ski with. Enjoy your ride in Gondola and on your way back ski as fast as you can. You could also Heli - Ski today (some extra cost involved though)
• If you are not good at ski and not so keen, then we have other fun sports for you like, Pull and Push with sledding cart. Drag someone to a height and push him on the cart down. You can also take a horse cart ride which is very amusing when it snows

Day 7, Thursday : Gulmarg

• Today we would ski early and then go to see a bit around
• After ski, let’s go to Khilamarg and the Mughal Gardens if it is not snow claded
• We are yet to explore some nice restaurants in the city, we will have diner in town
• Tonight join us for the paper dance. Choose your dance partner

Day 8, Friday : Gulmarg

• Breakfast at hotel
• Ski again today from Mt Affarawat to Gulmarg
• Take a tour of the beautiful Alpather lake,which usually remains frozen till June
• Dinner and get together at hotel

Day 9, Saturday : Gulmarg

• Breakfast at hotel
• There will be a ski competition among the group. Have lots of fun chasing each other
• The Ski week would come to an end. Return your Ski rentals in the late afternoon
• Get ready for the Farewell Party at night

Day 10, Sunday : Wake up early boys

• Transport to Srinagar at 10 AM - Flight to Delhi at 2 PM. Transfer for International flights
